Northern Lights and sceneries in Tromsoe – a gallery was added, displaying a selection of photographs that I had taken on my trips in February 2013 and March 2014.
To the active volcanos and bears of Kamchatka again – a gallery of photographs was added. You can get detailed information of the locations, for the most part including GPS – datas from the images in the gallery.
The known German nature magazine “Naturfoto” ( issue 6/2013) published my photo documentation of Franz Josef-Land
The photograph of the polar bears shown in the article was also honoured as a winner at the International “Glanzlichter” Nature Photography Contest 2013 again. As mentioned, the annual competition is one of the most important and highest regarded European events for nature photographers. In 2013 the jury had received 18450 entries of photographers from 35 countries. 87 photos in different categories were honoured with the “polar bear shot” being one of them, see the official site here
A selection of my photographs that I had taken in August 2012 on a trip to the Russian Arctic (Franz Josef-Land) was published in the December issue of the known “Signaturemagazine” in Australia. The arcticle was written by Barry Stone and can be viewed as pdf-file here. Some more images are displayed as a slideshow in the Online-issue of Signaturemagazine.

The annual competition and award ceremony in Fuerstenfeldbrueck near Munich (Germany) is highly regarded as one of the most important European events for nature photographers. In 2011 the jury had received 15053 entries of photographers from 33 countries. 87 photos in different categories were honoured with the “bear shot” one of them, see the official site here
